I don't think that the post above this one is supposed to be there. Is it required for the forum feed to work properly?
Why does every page in your site have the title "Welcome to formicite.com" except Apis mellifera, Apis mellifera II, and Cataglyphis bicolor, which claims to be Apis mellifera II? What happened to the thread in the ant forums in which someone had ant pictures for you? (You probably have a good reason for that one.)
Yay, you finally updated the Solenopsis invicta page! Someone put a newer video of it on the Internet, so you might want to link to it. I'll try to take videos for you during RoboGames then put them on my website.
I suggest that the password text box in the forums use the input type "password".
Good luck in RoboGames!

There's a chance I will not be able to come to RoboGames 2008, but my father and brother should come. I am currently not working on my father's RoboMagellan in my spare time because there is such a small chance of it being able to enter in time. I might work on it during the summer, though.

Hey ad510, thanks for posting.
The post was there because of weird problems created when I deleted that picture post. I deleted it because it was a long time ago, and a bug in the forums caused the name not to show. There are all kinds of problems with the forums and I might rip them out and replace them when I have time.
Thanks for sending the video and the bug report. I will add the video to the links page. I'm currently busy with Cataglyphis. It's seeking cones and GPS coordinates and on Friday I plan to hook up all the code. I'm having some problems with the camera though.
Look forward to seeing you at robogames.

What do you think of the forum feed, BTW?

It seems like I will probably not come to RoboGames on Saturday but I might come on Sunday.
As you might expect, the forum feed makes it easier to check for forum updates, which I like. An RSS version might be even better. It appears that the "please contact Connor's mom" thread under ants links to this one.
Did you get the email I sent on May 31? (This does not have to do with robots but the thread is already here so I might as well put this.) It seems that the code which would fix your bug in my RTS with selecting buildings and paper would be too slow to continue the cursor changing. Would fixing that bug, making the building selection more accurate so that you do not have to click the base, and decreasing sensitivity for non-building units be good enough to discontinue the cursor changing?

Congratulations at RoboGames! Now you get to update the Solenopsis invicta description again. I will probably give you links to my videos within a few days after I upload them. (Why doesn't anyone else with videos upload them?) Too bad Cataglyphis bicolor wasn't working, but then again it was further along than OLPR.
You said that you saw my email, but the Antswarm description still claims that the mini-map is in the upper-right corner when it is at the upper-left. Again, is there a way to close the panel to adjust Gordon model parameters?
I probably do not need you to make an installer for my game.
I want to help on your projects in ways other than beta testing. I have some C++ experience and the JavaScript on my website has given me more practice. Subversion seems a good but complex way to store information, but Google Docs seems to also be good as long as we do not edit files at the same time.
Sorry I'm filling your robot forum with non-robot material. I should probably email you next time I have information like this.

I got the Solenopsis invicta video on the Internet, so you can replace the AOL video with that one. I saw many other people recording the competition, but why did so few people care to upload them? When you finish improving your C++ library, please email it to me.

Thanks for offering to help me with my projects. I probably won't any game projects over the summer because of Willow Garage. In my spare time (ha ha), I'm going to clean up the C++ library. There are many different versions of it floating around on my computer that need to be joined.
And there's no documentation on how to use the thing. Many of the cool things you can do are not obvious, so it will probably have lots of undocumented features. There are also a number of confusing things that will go away. For example, if you don't want a window to be modal, you set its "noselect" parameter to be true. That must be should be made easier to figure out.

Oh, there's no way to close the model parameters window in antswarm. Sorry for missing that question.
